So still in amongst the lockdown I managed to pull a bit more weight and get the store live and running on the 24th! Wooo! Some nice reception thus far and a few people keen to look around visit the blog which is nice.
Before going live I managed to work on a couple more designs including this one featuring Finals MVP and Champ Giannis Antetokounmpo:
I used a bit more in terms of font selection as well as some different types of photoshop colour filtering. Interesting results.
I have been tinkering a bit more with the Superslow logo and what it means if I did some basketball gear. I've always wanted to create a label to use as a basketball brand too, something more versatile, so, I created Superslow basketball. I mean yeah it could be better but it's a start:
It has that hipster vibe to it so I'll explore it a bit more in future.
A buddy of mine from Uni, Will works for a production company so he was able to hook me up with some stickers, the designs should look familiar...
Keen to get these sorted. Thanks Will you fucking legend. We go all the way back to 2012 laughing at how stupid uni was and our tutors at the same time, damn I miss those days already. Crazy how time flies...
Overall July was a good month, happy to get the site off the ground, get access to some stats while creating a bit more. I hope to ship my first few orders in the coming weeks, hopefully the COVID situation doesn't blow out of control.
